Company Description**About Avery Dennison****Job Description**:You will manage manufacturing performance in terms of productivity, production efficiency (OEE & UEE), quality, scrap, manpower optimization, safety and cost control. You will be based in Queretaro and will report to the Plant Manager.**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE**- Oversee the production/manufacturing related activities to achieve operational efficiencies in a fast growing environment- Create and lead an Operations team (including personal development plans, setting KPI’s, etc.)- Lead and implement operational improvement strategies for productivity, quality, safety, 5S, cost savings and training.- Monitor work to meet unforeseen circumstances, control workflow to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools and equipment.- Collaborate with other functional areas to prevent and resolve problems and improve manufacturing processes.- Support the E,H&S team, promoting (and maintaining) a safe work environment- Promote teamwork within the manufacturing team as well as other functions at the shop floor level.- Execute/Support A3/8D/PDCA for Scrap and material variance and ensure its implementation.- Lead 5S activities, housekeeping and involved in recycling programs.- Drive improvement initiatives in key metric areas, manage production flow, staffing schedule and resources to budget and plan.**Qualifications**:**Qualifications**- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical) required.- 7+ years Operations/Manufacturing experience with 3+ manufacturing leadership experience is required.- Demonstrated successful experience in leading and managing individuals and teams is required.- Hands-on experience of modern manufacturing, material flow and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS, continuous flow, cellular etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation.- Experience in EHS is required.- Demonstrated understanding and skills in project and program management is preferred.- Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO or related experience preferred.- Strong logical and analytical skills.- Experience in electronic and/or high speed process manufacturing is preferred
