SAP Fico Consultant

NIMBL is actively growing and looking for additional team members**What you’ll do**:The SAP Senior FICO Consultant reports directly to the NIMBL’s Finance Practice Lead. As a key player in the NIMBL consulting team you will help discover and define the problem statement, evaluate solution options, and makes recommendations to the customer. As the Senior FICO Consultant, you align technology with business strategy and work directly with clients, gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology, SAP best practices, business changes to achieve defined business goals. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.- Lead the FICO team in projects, you will be able to drive tasks and deliverables to completion per project plan.- Responsible for configuration, data migration, development, testing, documentation, deployment and support for the project Finance and Controlling area.- Lead the relationship with the Finance organization for requirements gathering, GAP analysis and documentation, solutions design, configuration options formulation and scope negotiation.- Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations to the business.- Implement newly improved FICO and cross-functional business processes.- Coach team members to become the senior architect of the future.- Responsible for the detailed finance cut-over plan.- Drive the testing approach and test scripts documentation in his area of responsibility.- Responsible for driving to completion all the integrated tasks in the areas interconnect with the SAP FI & CO.**What you’ll bring to the team**:- Minimum of 8+ years experience in SAP FICO (including S4 HANA)- Minimum of 4 end-to-end SAP Finance and Controlling implementations, including hands-on design and configuration- Strong knowledge of Finance and Controlling business functions- Expertise with Treasury and Banking, as well as one of the following: Group Reporting, FSCM, Leasing, FI-CA, RAR, etc- Must have worked in distributed global delivery model- Accounting background preferred- Strong SAP configuration/set up knowledge- Confident and client facing personality with excellent analytical and communication skills- Experience and desire to work in a consulting environment that requires some travel- Knowledge with design/configuration and testing for core FICO areas: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, CCA, CO-PA, CO-PC- Experience with designing custom solutions and interfaces between SAP & Non-SAP systems- Nice to have but not required: exposure to Central Finance and Risk**Why NIMBL**:We support people who enjoy working on a variety of tasks and who love hands-on learning.
