**Job Title**SRE (MEXICO)**The team**As part of our cutting-edge Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team, you'll be working alongside a dedicated group of professionals focused on maintaining and enhancing the reliability of our systems. The team is deeply invested in leveraging modern technologies to ensure that our infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and efficient. Collaboration is at the heart of our operations, and we continually strive to adopt the best practices of SRE, DevOps, and DevSecOps to support our global initiatives.**The role**As an SRE based in Mexico, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of our cloud infrastructure. Your work will involve a blend of system administration, software development, and operational support, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement. You'll be responsible for tasks such as system upgrades, patch management, and the implementation of infrastructure as code (IAAC). Additionally, you will be on-call to manage incidents, support issue resolution, and collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure seamless operations across various cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.**What you'll bring**- 4+ years of experience with Linux, including scripting in bash and Python.- 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker (2+ years).- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Ansible, Rundeck, Jenkins, Harness, Chef, Helm).- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, particularly CI/CD tools.- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform) and configuration as code (GitHub).- Experience with change management tools like JIRA, incident.io, JSM, Slack, and Service Now.- Proficiency with monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Grafana, Icinga, Rancher).- Strong understanding of network concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, NTP, switching, and routing.- Experience in on-call pager duty support (1+ years).- Bachelor's or Master's degree, or 5-6 years of proven experience.**What you'll be doing**- Stay on top of groundbreaking analysis of microservices, upgrade, patch management, IAAC, and DevOps best practices and tools.- Understand new technologies and their strengths/weaknesses in the context of SRE.- Collaborate with Software Engineering and QA teams by developing and implementing automated runbooks and Rundecks.- Document processes and steps for automation, and create thorough incident reports with RCA and PCA.- Engage in on-call pager duty to support incidents.- Follow and improve coding standards, ensuring high code quality.- Proactively identify the latest tools and technologies, and help implement new industry standards.- Identify inefficiencies in processes and help improve them to maximize team performance.- Assist in identifying dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks in projects.**Championing diversity equity and inclusion****How we look after you**We want to help you take care of your today and tomorrow - at home and at work.
