Descripción y detalle de las actividades**Overview of Role**- The Senior Trade Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with global trade regulations and supporting daily import/export activities for our operations in Mexico and the United States.- This position is key to supporting business continuity and mitigating risk while ensuring efficiency in cross-border operations.**Key Responsibilities**- Perform accurate HTS code classification for products across multiple categories.- Support day-to-day import/export transactions, including documentation review, customs filings, and coordination with brokers and freight forwarders.- Maintain compliance with all applicable trade laws, including Mexican IMMEX program requirements.- Conduct internal audits and reviews of trade compliance processes to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.- Partner with internal teams (Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Legal, and Finance) to ensure smooth and compliant cross-border movement of goods.- Support investigations, disclosures, and responses to government inquiries as needed.- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on trade compliance best practices.- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation to support compliance activities.Experiência y requisitos**Required Qualifications & Skills**- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Law, or a related field.- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in trade compliance, import/export operations, or customs compliance.- Solid understanding of tariff regulations and trade agreements impacting North America (USMCA, etc.).- Experience with Mexico Maquiladora operations and IMMEX program compliance.- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.- Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with local and international teams.**Preferred Qualifications**- Certification in U.S. Customs Brokerage, CUSECO, or equivalent.- Experience with compliance automation tools and systems (e.g., SAP GTS, OCR).- Previous experience in a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.**Why Join Us?**- Opportunity to make an immediate impact in a high-visibility role.- Work with a global team across North America.- Competitive compensation and benefits package.- Professional growth and development in international trade compliance.Beneficios- Beneficios de acuerdo a la LFT- comedor- fondo de ahorro- servicios médicos en planta**Número de vacantes** 1**Área** Importación y Exportación**Contrato** Permanente**Modalidad** Presencial**Turno** Diurno**Jornada** Tiempo Completo**Horario**- Tiempo completo- Lunes a viernes**Estudios** Carrera con título profesional**Inglés**Hablado: Avanzado, Escrito: Avanzado**Disponibilidad p. viajar** No
