Develop and implement compliance policies Design, update, and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures that guarantee legal and regulatory compliance across all countries in the region. Monitor regulatory compliance Oversee regional operations to ensure adherence to local laws, international regulations, and corporate standards (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, antitrust). Manage legal and compliance risks Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks in collaboration with departments such as Legal, Finance, HR, and Operations. Conduct internal investigations Lead or coordinate investigations into potential violations of internal policies or laws, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions. Deliver training and awareness programs Develop and deliver training sessions on ethics, compliance, and corporate policies to employees at all levels. Perform audits and reviews Plan and execute internal compliance audits and follow up on findings and action plans. Reporting and communication Report to senior management and the global compliance function on the compliance status in the region, including incidents, key metrics, and improvements. Support in transactions and contracts Review and validate contract clauses from a compliance perspective, especially in agreements with third parties, suppliers, and strategic partners. Third-party compliance management Evaluate and monitor the compliance of suppliers, contractors, and business partners through due diligence and ongoing oversight.
