Its purpose is to make sure HSBC understands, and is in control of its non-financial risk position. In addition, the function provides resilience risk stewardship to the Regional Business and Functions and the entities we operate in.This is achieved through:- Oversight of changes in the risk profile through development of metrics and analysis of risks, controls and issues, amongst others.- Produce Operational and Resilience Risk reporting to monitor Operational and Resilience Risk activities across the different Lines of Defense and present at governance forums.- Complete risks and controls quality reviews as necessary.- Support the Operational and Resilience Risk team members with oversight activities such as Change Oversight and Business Services.**Main activities**:- Actively supports Operational and Resilience Risk oversight activities, where requested such as for Change Oversight and Business Services.- Provides leadership through interaction with key stakeholders. Holds regular meetings with key stakeholders and provides guidance and quality assurance with regard to Operational Risk related information such as risks, controls, issues, etc.- Support Operational Risk regulatory reporting.- Perform periodic oversight / monitoring over HELIOS data / trends. Coordinate with CCO teams to address any concerns identified.- Supporting the implementation of the Non-Financial Risk framework- Face-off with assigned businesses to provide guidance on risk and control guidance.- Coordinate with assigned businesses to deliver quality reporting deliverables. Specifically, ensure that commentary is sufficient and accurateRequirements**Knowledge & Experience**- Five years proven operational risk management, or equivalent, with background in reporting.- Strong relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills with experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior stakeholders- Experience spanning across multiple risk disciplines with knowledge of global standards across the industry- Skilled decision-maker, making considered and timely decisions, thriving under high pressure- Ability to distil complex and varied information into useful, insightful and concise recommendations- Strong ability to correctly priorities activity, and optimize the pace of delivery- A change agent who challenges the status quo as a robust diplomat; cogently, constructively and positively, leading relevant strategies that enable safe growth of HSBC.- Adaptability, commitment and motivation to meet tight schedules and stay abreast of significant issues in a regularly changing environment.- Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel (proficient use of SQL a plus) for the purposes of creating monthly dashboards that are presented to the governance meetings, senior business management, and regulators.- Knowledge of MI reporting tools Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep is a plus.- Proficiency in EnglishYou’ll achieve more when you join HSBC**Issued by HSBC Electronic Data Processing (México) Private LTD
