Come be a part of this journey****BAT MEXICO** **IS LOOKING FOR A DATA SCIENTIST****SENIORITY LEVEL**:Junior Manager**FUNCTION**: Digital Business Solutions**LOCATION**:Monterrey Mexico**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**Support the Sr. Data Scientist leading the UI/UX developments to build, improve and enhance Polaris, Financial Planning, tool. Works as per Business/Stakeholders priorities.**Reports to**:Data Science Director**Geographic Scope: US****WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Design core elements, and properties by understanding the software requirements, constraints, interfaces, and dependencies.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code- Work very closely with, and incorporate feedback from Product Management, User, Designers, Front-End and Back-End Engineers.**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**- Fluent in NoSQL & relational-based systems.- Strong technical skills in Python, SQL server, and relational databases- Experience in the overall architecture of big data systems, and cloud services/systems. (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, etc.)- Front-end tools knowledge in Dash, Flask, Angular or similar.- Experience in analytical platforms (Databricks)- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.**WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
