This position will assist with developing high-quality training material that aligns with the operations workstream of Vertiv’s OCM and Performance Support strategy.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Support content creation for multiple learning modalities (instructor-led, webinars, video, etc.) but will primarily focus on online content creation.- Have a passion for storytelling and creating an engaging user experience.- Utilize authoring tools like Opus and Articulate Rise to build courses and demonstrations.- Ensure that our vision and mission are reflected in all aspects of the learner experience.- Model exceptional customer service, teamwork, and professionalism in the development/maintenance process.- Interact with the business and other team members in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding distance education courses and issues.- Create, manage, and deliver engaging training across multiple mediums while accommodating multiple learning styles.- Integrate adult learning theory best practices into course development.- Produce courses on time and in alignment with the overall learning strategy.- Can thrive in demanding, fast-paced, large-scale IT implementation projects.- Address changes and feedback to deliverables in a timely manner.- Design and evaluate Kirkpatrick evaluations.**QUALIFICATIONS**- Minumum 3 years experience in a functional training development role on a large-scale IT implementation project, such as ERP/PLM/CPQ/MS Dynamics, Oracle/PeopleSoft/SAP.- Familiarity with Operations concepts, understanding of Buyer or Planner business roles, and/or warehouse management.- Experience using training development tools such as Articulate Rise, Opus, UPK, and WalkMe.- Sound understanding of adult learning theory and models (ADDIE).- Experience creating work instructions, job aids, and documenting business processes.- Sound technical writing and instructional design skills as evidenced by work samples.- Fluent in English and Spanish(reading, writing, speaking).
