**Project description**:As a Senior Data Engineer at Luxoft, you will be part of an innovative and fast-moving team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable and robust data solutions. This role offers an opportunity to work on impactful projects in an industry ripe for transformation, optimizing data infrastructure and automation to support business operations and client needs.**Responsibilities**:Lead and contribute to complex data integration and automation projects, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and simplicity.Collaborate with Product and Business Operations teams, making strategic trade-offs between short-term needs and long-term solutions.Drive innovation through technology, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements across the organization.Design and implement data processing systems, databases, and data pipelines leveraging cloud platforms.Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes, data mapping, and data table modeling.Manage data integrations via SFTP, EDI, and file exchanges (CSV, XLS, etc.).Automate and orchestrate data pipelines to ensure smooth data workflows.Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless data interactions across platforms.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.**Skills**:Must haveRequired Experience6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on data processing and integration.Proven experience in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments.Strong expertise in database management, data processing, and pipeline orchestration.Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).Experience with REST API development.Familiarity with document-based databases such as MongoDB (preferred but not required).Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and platforms.Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across various functions.Our Tech StackDatabases: PostgreSQLProgramming Languages: Node.js, TypeScriptData Tools: Salesforce, Airbyte, Dagster, ParabolaData Integration: SFTP, EDI, CSV/XLS file exchangesNice to haveNA**Other**:LanguagesEnglish: C1 AdvancedSenioritySeniorGuadalajara, MX, MexicoReq.
