Your leadership will directly impact operational efficiency, cost optimization, and supplier reliability, contributing to Carrier’s global success.**Key Responsibilities**:As a Strategic Commodity Manager, you’ll be responsible for:- Providing strategic leadership and oversight for assigned commodities to maximize business value- Conducting operational and spend analysis, developing and executing annual sourcing strategies- Leading supplier negotiations, performance management, and operational support- Awarding contracts within spending limits and identifying new qualified sources of supply- Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve strategies- Analyzing supplier operations to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance- Developing strategic plans for commodities or key suppliers- Managing relationships with one or more strategic accounts within assigned commodities- Leading the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature- Ensuring supplier performance meets delivery, quality, and cost expectations**Requirements**:We are looking for people who are strategic, analytical, and collaborative.
