Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.- Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Juarez Norte.- Reporting to the Engineering Services Manager the Manufacturing Engineer’s role involves:- What a typical day looks like:- Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties.- Design’s manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.- Analyzes and plans workforce utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.- Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.- Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to their request.- Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.- The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- Intermediate English- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience- Use of the following tools may be required: CAD, robot and PLC programming, and other automation components.- Testing: oscilloscope, trouble shooting, component testing, logic analyzer.
