Flex, a Fortune global 500 company, is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer located in Juárez, North Campus.Reporting to the Engineering Services Director, Manufactiring Engineer role involves plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties in the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.What a typical day looks like:- Understand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques.- Designs manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.- Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.- Define equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills Work with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans.- May be involved in development and update of PFMEA for new products.- May participate in control plan development.- Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures).- Analyzes and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.- Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.- Coordinates with customers to determine product specifications and design changes and responds to customer request.- Provides information for management decisions from a technical and technical cost perspective.- Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.- Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.- Intermediate English.- Previous related experience (Harness).- Previous experience reading harness plans.- Experience in APQP management.- Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people skills.- Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.- Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic process skills.- Demonstrates advanced / thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business.- Skill and troubleshooting and diagnostics, and overview of the entire test process and the ability to train others.- Able to run and explain simulations.- Experience in the Automotive sector is also a plus.- Experience in high voltage harnesses is also a plus.What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.AD80Job CategoryProduction Engineering**Required Skills**:Optional Skills:
