Interpretation of engineering drawings.- Evaluation of parts against specifications.- PC Programming DMIS version 3.2 2001 Brown ᶓ Sharpe onwards, for CMM use- Creation and edit dimensional inspection programs in CMM- Support in the release of new parts for production- Provide support to Production, Engineering or any other department on suspected/questionable material verification.- Carrying out capacity studies for equipment required by quality and/or engineering.- Laboratory Administration (inventory control of equipment and spare parts, requisition of new parts to replace damaged parts, control of fixtures used in functional tests, among others).- GR&R development.- Technical support to process auditors.- Assist in training other employees in CMM operation.- Verification of the dimensional instruments used by production- Active participation in lean and six sigma manufacturing projects- Management of quality tools and problem solving- Active participation in projects to improve current products or launch new products by suggesting and carrying out capacity studies, carrying out feasibility investigations of new processes from the metrology point of view, among others.- Understands, implements, and maintains the Company’s quality policy through the performance of all duties and responsibilities to insure accuracy.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.**_ We Don’t Just Build The World, We Build Innovative Technology Too._**Joining the Stanley Black & Decker team means working in an innovative, tech-driven and highly collaborative team environment supported by over 58,000 professionals in 60 countries across the globe.
