Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.**Job Summary**The Site Buyer plays a fundamental role within the Procurement team, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of components and services necessary for site operations. We work closely with multifunctional departments such as Planning, Segment Purchasing, and Manufacturing to align purchasing strategies with operational objectives and compliance with corporate policies. Ultimately, we contribute to the overall efficiency of the site and the resilience of the supply chain.**What You Will Do**:- Identify and monitor potential for cost and inventory reductions, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.- Operating and monitoring the supply network procurement functions to meet the defined response time, cost, quality, and lean targets enabling optimal and efficient facility operations.- Collaborating with business partners and suppliers and resolving facility specific supplier issues.- Serve as a trusted resource to support compliance to Purchasing Practices and Enterprise Procedures around purchasing goods and services.- Coordinate and execute Control SOX audits requested by Corporate.**Education requirement**:- Bachelor's degree in international business, Administration, Industrial Engineering or related.- Advanced English**What skills you will have**:**Effective Communications**:- Demonstrates strong communication skills, including the ability to convey, receive, and interpret information, ideas, and needs accurately using appropriate tools, techniques, and behaviors.**Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking**:- Possesses expertise in analytical tools and techniques to identify the root causes of organizational challenges and develop effective, alternative solutions to address them.**Data-driven Decision Making**:**Project Management**:- Skilled in project management strategies and practices, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, monitor, and control projects to ensure optimal use of technical and administrative resources and successful achievement of project goals.- CPIM Certification (APICS)- Green Belt Certification**Additional Information**:The location for this position Santa Catarina, Nuevo LeonThis position will require domestic and international travel up to 20%Work schedule: Monday to Friday (7am-4pm)Relocation is not available for this position.**Final details****The Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select, and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.
