Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:In this role you will provide assistance to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures and by providing relevant market information.**This position reports to**:Procurement & Logistics Team Lead**Your responsibilities**:- Purchasing materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms, negotiating with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions.- Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures.- Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.- Identifying and qualifying new suppliers together with supplier quality and engineering specialists.- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price.- Investigation and Resolution of PO/AP Issues. Investigate and resolve purchase order issues within SAP including but not limited to GR/IR discrepancies, blocked invoices, invoice posting, missing invoices, and PO closing relative.- Act as support for purchasing. This will include but is not limited to quoting new items, quoting existing items with no previous purchase history, collaborating with the maintenance and master data teams.- Closely work with Maintenance Planning, Finance and Business users to effectively manage the Requisition and PO compliance process.- Participate in process and system improvement initiatives.**Your background**:- Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering, International Business or related.- 5 years of experience working in similar position and 1 year with leadership.- Knowledge of SAP, MS Office and Excel (Macros) is a plus.- Experience in purchase of indirect materials (services).- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.- Advanced level of English.**More about us**:
