Financial Analyst- Audit Expertise

Lead planning and scoping of audits, with support from the Quality Supervisor- Develop audit plans including identification of risks and procedures to test- Review work papers for accuracy, adequate testing coverage, and appropriate documentation- Update the Quality Activity Checklist to reflect audit progress.- Maintain and update risk and control matrices for assigned audits- Lead status meetings with the business unit / auditee- Draft issues ensuring the root cause is accurately identified and that management action plans are developed that address the root cause. Assign an initial issue rating in conjunction with the audit team.- Draft the audit report, including rating and report conclusions- Dedicatedly communicate audit results with GBS Quality Supervisor and business owners for alignment- Work with Audit Staff to Develop recommendations for audit issues identified to achieve a consistent control environment- Represent GBS Quality team and works with the business and service lines- Monitor timeline for audit planning, execution, and reporting- Provide or assist in providing training, coaching and guidance to Internal Audit staff in conducting audits and other audit-related issues- Assist staff in difficult situations including resolving conflicts- Develop a good understanding of GBS Finance operations.- Build strong relationships with the business and service lines- Identify, interpret and analyze possible risks and accounting problems- Identify and enforce internal controls, SOX compliance, and financial procedures- Partner with Finance to determine the accounting implications of transactions and perform reviews.- Assess current accounting policies and practices and drive continuous improvement**Additional Job Description**Lic.
