Because why not do it all?**WHAT TO EXPECT**As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team.The Senior Project Manager develops, plans, and implements process improvement/capital projects as well as manufacturing best practices documentation for global PT facilities while working across all internal business groups. This position have the primary focus on managing multi-facility capital, strategy and standardization projects with focus on GPS as well as manages two direct reports (Global Mfg Eng and Global Controls Eng).- Execute on specific scope for top level project priorities, concentrating on deliver, start up and technical management process.- Managing and mentoring direct reports, empowering direct reports to make good business decisions. Alignment of projects through the Operations Excellence Group.- Support multiple global GPS/Best practice projects, ensuring plants follow the GPS guidelines.**Key responsibilities (to name a few)**:- Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.- Capacity planning/research/data analysis for capital planning- Prepares and presents capital project proposals for Gates' manufacturing plants globally.- Develops Statements of Work (SOW); prepares bid packages for quote; reviews and provides the recommended sourcing decision.- Recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and continuous improvement opportunities.- Implements and documents process best practices- Capital equipment support and run-off at equipment supplies and Gates' manufacturing facilities.- Management of project metrics including timing, spend forecast, and key objectives.- Supplier visits for project updates and equipment run-offs.- Research and develop new processes for both new and existing products.- Training and support of the plant engineering staff.- Drive process improvement and cost saving process to yearly goals.- Direct and manage Manufacturing and Controls Engineers in Operations Excellence group located in Toluca.- Focus on SME within Toluca processes as well with some global project/standardization**PAY & BENEFITS**- Saving Incentive: 13% of the base salary paid in monthly basis.- Profit Sharing - According with local laws and Gates policy.- Meal Allowance $3,112.00 MXP per month- Medical and Life Insurance Coverage - According with the current Gates de México Policy.- Social Security (IMSS) - 100% covered by Gates.- Vacation and Holidays -Under the provisions of Gates Personnel Policies for the Gates de México.- Gates Pension Plan - Contribution defined Gates Pension Plan Fund according to the current policy.
