That’s what **_\#LifeAtCummins_** is all about.We are looking for a talented **IT SUPPORT ASSOCIATE** to join our team specializing in **IT** for our **CUMMINS MOTORES** in **San Luis Potosí, SLP, México**.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure problems.- Manage requests and incidents through ticket management systems, documenting actions taken.- Provide effective solutions and analyze data to identify recurring trends or areas for improvement.- Implement corrective actions based on root-cause analysis.- Create, update and manage operational standards and process documentation.- Provide support according to established processes and ensure compliance.- Train less experienced staff in IT tools and procedures.- Oversee and support contracted resources.- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure effective solutions.- Identify opportunities for improvement and propose changes to optimize services and processes.- Manage the relationship with external suppliers, providing follow-up and ensuring compliance with standards.- Extend the workday according to the needs of the business.- Assist in other assigned IT-related responsibilities.- Perform IT production support for assigned areas according to documented processes.- Manage documentation and process standards.To be successful in this role, you will need the following:- Strong knowledge in database and SQL management.- Understanding and experience with root-cause analysis methodologies.- Familiarity with innovative technologies applied to the business.**Qualifications****Main Areas of Interaction**: Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering.**_Additional Requirements: Extension of the workday due to the need for the business._****Responsibilities**- We are a company dedicated to promoting diversity in the workplace, we provide equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, disability, national origin, age, religion or sexual orientation_**Skills**- Values differences.- Action-oriented- Stakeholder balance sheet- Troubleshooting (Cause - Root Analysis)- Effective communication.- Proactivity- Teamwork.- Negotiation- Flexibility- Adaptability.**Education**Completed Minimum Preparatory, Technical Career.**Experience**At least 6 months of experience related to IT support areas or root cause analysis.**Job** Systems/Information Technology**Organization** Cummins Inc.**Role Category** Hybrid**Job Type** Office**ReqID** **Relocation Package** No
