Your Role

As Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in driving MAS Global's next phase of growth by shaping and enhancing our technology offerings, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring technical excellence. Working closely with sales, delivery, and executive leadership, you will define and position MAS's solutions to meet evolving market needs, establish credibility with clients, and support strategic partnerships. With a focus on scaling our Data, AI, and Cloud practices, you will act as a technology leader who bridges business opportunities with cutting-edge solutions, all while attracting, mentoring, and retaining top-tier technical talent.

What You'll Do

  • Shape Technology Strategy and Define Offerings
    • Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with MAS Global's growth objectives and market trends in Cloud, Data, and AI.
    • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to create compelling, differentiated technology offerings and solutions tailored to client needs.
    • Drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and integrating emerging technologies in Data and AI into MAS's service offerings.
  • Client Engagement and Solution Design
    • Partner with sales teams to deliver impactful presentations, showcasing MAS's technical expertise and business value.
    • Engage directly with clients to understand their challenges and translate those into tailored technology solutions and winning proposals.
    • Establish MAS Global as a trusted advisor by demonstrating technical credibility and a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Strategic Partnerships and Ecosystem Development
    • Build and strengthen partnerships with hyperscale's like Microsoft, AWS, Google, Snowflake and AI-related partnerships like Nvidia and OpenAI.
    • Leverage existing relationships to unlock new opportunities and establish MAS as a preferred partner in the technology ecosystem.
    • Represent MAS Global at industry events to showcase thought leadership and build credibility.
  • Team Leadership and Talent Development
    • Lead and manage high-performing technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
    • Define career paths, provide mentorship, and implement strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent in software engineering, cloud, data, and AI.
  • Operational Excellence and Delivery Support
    • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects, maintaining high-quality standards and alignment with business objectives.
    • Drive continuous improvement in technical practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and client outcomes.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of technical leadership experience, including 4+ years in technology professional services.
  • Proven track record of scaling technology organizations and driving adoption of cloud, data, and AI solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge business and technology by aligning client needs with innovative solutions.
  • Proven experience in building and leading high-performing technical teams.
  • Established relationships with leading technology partners and a proven history of leveraging these partnerships.
  • Advanced English proficiency; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Location and Travel : Ideal cities: Medellin, Colombia, and other main cities in LATAM and the US will be considered with a relocation package available. This is a flexible hybrid arrangement, with travel (25-50%) to Tampa, FL, Medellín, Colombia, client sites, technology conferences, and events.
