We’re using technology to chand moves on all cargo.The Senior Lease Accountant is responsible for lease accounting transactions and supporting the overall financial operations. This role ensures accurate recording of lease accounting transactions, performs account reconciliations, and assists with month-end and year-end closing activities.Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for lease accounting transactions in the ERP system and ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting principles and standards and understand any statutory accounting differences.- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, flux analyses, and reconciliations.- Conduct account reconciliations at a consolidated level, investigate and resolve any discrepancies or variances.- Prepare lease footnote schedules.- Review work prepared by the Fixed Asset Accountant.- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate and timely recording of lease payments.- Comply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements, and interpret new and existing legislation.- Prepare and maintain lease accounting policies and procedures.- Monitors lease activity to ensure appropriate accounting.**Knowledge/Skills Required**:Technical CompetenciesGood command of English, both written and verbal is a prerequisite and including US based accounting terminologies | Bachelor´s degree required with focus on Finance | Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting | Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role with a knowledge of US based GAAP accounting principles | Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel | Experience with NetSuite is preferred | Solid understanding of financial statements and reportingBehavioral CompetenciesDrive to results | Accountable for group´s deliverables | Process Management | Communication and effective listening skills | Emotional maturity | High integrity | Team player | Lead by example | Comfort around higher management | Strong customer service focus to both internal andd external customers | Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills | Strong organizational and time management abilities**PAY IS MXP****What We Offer**:- Competitive base salary.- Two weeks of paid time off within the first year of employment, sick time and holidays.- Company provided life insurance.- Health, vision, and dental insurance options.- Commuter benefit plan.- Optional supplemental life insurance.- 401(k)- Wellness program.- A great place to work with a terrific culture.Pay: $33,000.00 - $38,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Monterrey, N.
