Requisition ID: 31937- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXIn Danfoss Commercial Compressor Procurement we are looking for an experienced** **Procurement Manager **to lead a future Procurement Team in our factory under construction at Monterrey and drive the commercial activities in the region. A commercial background from a manufacturing environment and experience with people management is key to succeed in the job.**Responsibilities**:As Procurement Manager, as the beginning, you will have to identify and select the right suppliers for our new factory in coordination with the Procurement Director living in France, you will support the components qualification and you will hire our factory procurement team. Later one, a key task is to ensure continuous development and execution of the regional sourcing strategy and cost down roadmap. Our ambition is to pursue a high degree of sourcing localization and continuously support the business with commercial and technical cost down opportunities.A key requirement is to be a strong Business Partner to the local organization and ensure clear stakeholder management (Operations, Research & Development, Supplier Quality etc.) in setting the direction of our Business. Through close cross-functional teamwork, our overall target is to always have day-to-day priorities match our customers’ expectations.You will be part of a Global Procurement Team with colleagues in China and France, Mexico. In your role, a key element is to ensure strong supplier relationship management of our Mexican supplier base. With that, you are expected to take the lead in developing the suppliers to become global suppliers to Danfoss as well as be the local supplier key account for the other regions in case of escalations.**Background & Skills**:To succeed in the job, we expect you to have an academic degree (Bachelors in Engineering/Business or MSc.) and have a proven track record as a manager within Project-based Procurement in a manufacturing environment. Previous experience from working in a global company is considered an advantage. Additionally, you should fulfill the following professional profile:- Experience in a procurement or supply chain function- Commercial background with a solid technical understanding of the manufacturing process across multiple categories (E.g.
