Business Support Specialist, IT Operations - Mobile Device HardwareJob Summary:Key Responsibilities:- Maintain in-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware components, including processors, memory, displays, cameras, and sensors- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware issues for a variety of mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, wearables)- Manage mobile device inventory, including procurement, asset tracking, and lifecycle management- Collaborate with software teams to identify and resolve hardware-related performance issues- Develop and maintain documentation on hardware troubleshooting procedures and best practices- Provide technical guidance to other IT support staff on mobile device hardware matters- Evaluate new mobile devices and recommend hardware upgrades or replacements as needed- Assist in the development and implementation of mobile device policies and security measures- Coordinate with vendors for device repairs, replacements, and warranty claims- Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in mobile device hardware technology**Requirements**:- In-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware components and their functionality- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Mobile Device Management (MDM) certifications are a plus- Experience with mobile device management platforms (Intune) are a plus- Familiarity with both iOS and Android operating systems and hardware- Fluent in English (Verbal and Written)
