This pivotal role is based in Alcaldía Benito Juárez, Mexico, and is crucial to our operational success, ensuring that our ocean logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently.About the RoleAs an Ocean Operations Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of managing ocean freight operations, overseeing daily activities, and ensuring that our services meet the highest quality standards. Your leadership will guide a team of professionals while optimising operational workflows, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This position demands a proactive approach, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate ocean logistics operations to ensure timely and efficient handling of shipments.Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, carriers, and partners to facilitate smooth operations.Monitor performance metrics, providing analysis and feedback to the team for continuous improvement.Lead, mentor, and develop the ocean operations team, promoting a culture of collaboration and accountability.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations, solve problems, and deliver optimal solutions.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective resource allocation.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in logistics or supply chain management, particularly in ocean freight operations. You should possess excellent leadership skills, demonstrated ability in team management, and a keen analytical mindset.
