Structural Engineer

Job Details:- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday | 8 AM to 5 PM Central Standard Time- **Location**: RemoteKey Responsibilities:- **Engineering Request Reviews**: Evaluate engineering service requests to ensure sufficient information is provided for completion.- **Tower Structure Analysis**: Review and analyze tower structures and foundations for various configurations, including existing, proposed, and reserved tenant setups.- **Mount and Rigging Plan Management**: Review mount analyses, rigging plans, construction drawings, and inspection reports.- **Site Visits**: Conduct periodic site visits to verify the proper implementation of engineering designs.- **Project Management**: Initiate and manage low-complexity analysis projects using various methods and software.- **Design Assistance**: Assist in designing modifications for telecommunications infrastructure, including reinforcing, extensions, and foundations.- **Collaboration**: Work closely with design staff on the development of modification drawings.- **Reporting**: Generate accurate project status reports and required engineering documentation.- **Quality Control**: Ensure adherence to all applicable quality control procedures.- **Additional Duties**: Perform other duties as assigned.Preferred Skills:- Advanced understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and industry standards.- Experience with additional structural analysis software.- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.- Previous experience in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering or a related field.- Minimum of 1 year of experience in:- Communication tower design and analysis- Construction or field engineering of steel structures- Structural engineering- Experience in the telecommunications industry.- Proficiency with Risa-3D.- Basic knowledge of structural analysis software and tower structures/design methods.- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.- Strong written and oral communication skills.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.- Ability to work with various levels of employees and build/maintain professional relationships.- Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who meets these qualifications and is eager to contribute to the safety and efficiency of our telecommunications infrastructure.
