The Mastercard Creative Studio is looking for a (Latin American) Spanish- and English-speaking content specialist with a passion for technology to join our amazing in-house creative team.We’re looking for a talented bilingual copywriter with an ability to distill the next big thing into bite-sized copy for an audience of media, analysts and business decision makers — mostly in Latin America.As a copywriter in the Creative Studio, you’ll work closely with internal team members (designers, videographers and UI/UX designers) and stakeholders across the company (marketing, product and sales; mostly those in our Latin America and Caribbean region) to produce a wide variety of content.You’re a strategic thinker who brings value to every project by approaching it with a curious mind and a journalist’s eye. You know how to ask the right questions and distill the answers down into crisp, compelling copy. You’re always looking for ways to infuse a creative edge into everything you do.You have a passion or interest in payments and digital technologies and like to keep up to date with the latest trends.Finally, you have a growth mindset. You’re passionate about skill development, continual learning and maximizing every opportunity to push yourself and those around you.Necessary skillsCopywriting- Write thoughtful, well-crafted (Latin American) Spanish and English language copy in a variety of formats and styles including long-form articles and whitepapers, case studies, social copy, video scripts, and more.- Brazilian Portuguese language ‘desirable’- Ability to work effectively from a written and/or verbal brief and meet/exceed expectations- Ensure all content is accurate, precise and aligned with the Mastercard brand and style guidelines and best practices- Distill potentially complex fintech concepts and solutions into clear and engaging language- Possess a keen eye for detail and be able to edit copy for content and grammar- Driven to produce high-quality work and willing to stay current with industry writing and editorial trendsBusiness skills- Collaborate with and serve as a strategic partner to internal team and stakeholders across the company- Understand the business goals and marketing strategies of our stakeholders- Work effectively with others to identify challenges and opportunities and use creative and strategic thinking to generate solutions- Demonstrate a curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends in the technology and payments spaceWork style- A quick learner with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment- Ability to work effectively from home/remotely as required- Passionate problem solver with a love of writing, marketing and storytelling- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a positive “get stuff done” mindset- Possess a growth mindset and a willingness to give and receive feedback- Collaborative and respectful of diverse perspectives and other creative skill setsRequired experience- Minimum 3 years working as a copywriter, content writer or related role, some B2B or technology experience preferred- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or related field- Agency experience is a plus- Proficient in Microsoft Office- Experience with project management softwareCorporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:- Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices;- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;- Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
