Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Specialist Hybrid | Guadalajara, Mexico We are looking for an experienced Data Loss Prevention (DLP) professional to join our security team and play a key role in protecting sensitive data across enterprise environments. This is a client-facing, hands-on role requiring strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and a continuous improvement mindset. Key Requirements ✅ 7+ years of relevant experience in Data Loss Prevention / Data Protection Proven expertise in designing and implementing Symantec DLP solutions Strong knowledge of Data Privacy & Data Protection concepts ⚙️ DLP policy configuration aligned with business requirements Experience deploying DLP software/firmware updates and patches Coordinate with OEMs for implementation and support issues ️ Hands-on experience with Jira & Confluence ️ Technical Expertise Data Protection technologies: DLP (Database, File, Email) Encryption Data Masking (Static & Dynamic) Test Data Masking PKI Integration of DLP with: SIEM PAM Other security & business intelligence solutions Strong understanding of PCI DSS , ERM , and related compliance standards DLP event monitoring, analysis, triage, and escalation Trend analysis to enhance and optimize DLP detection policies Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Product-related issue management, bug fixes, and improvements Responsibilities Enforce DLP security policies across networks, systems, and applications Analyze alerts and event patterns to prioritize threats effectively Support projects related to reporting, workflow, and incident/problem management Provide technical guidance for integrated security systems Collaborate with clients to translate business and security needs into effective DLP solutions Drive continuous improvements in DLP processes and controls Mentor and support team members Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong client-facing reporting and presentation abilities Continuous system improvement mindset Ability to mentor and support team members Experience working with internal stakeholders to align business processes with DLP policies—without compromising security ✨ Why Join Us?
