**Position Summary**:The Senior New Product Introduction (NPI) Manager is responsible for the execution of production for New Products and for Products that are transferred from other facilities. The position will be responsible for creating process flows, validating of production processes, developing of work instructions, and other activities associated with building of PCBA in a high mix, low volume, complex manufacturing environment. This position will be based in our Reynosa, Mexico facility and may require occasional travel to other Abaco sites in the United States and United Kingdom.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:- Establish robust checklist for NPI and Product transfers- Establish process flows, PFMEA, and work instructions- Set up a traceability system for materials, processes, and process conditions for military and aerospace requirements.- Create initial documentation to build new products, pilots, and prototypes.- Implement the necessary tools to build the new products, pilots and protypes.- Validate the building processes of new products, pilots, and prototypes.- Release the validated documentation to Controlled Docs and Production Departments.- Participate in continuous improvements meetings.**Education and Experience**:- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish- 5 to 7 years’ experience in PCBA / SMT Production with strong experience in product transfers / NPI- 5 to 7 years’ experience in PCBA Manufacturing Processes- IPC Certification is a plus**Qualifications**:- Extensive knowledge and use of Microsoft Project- Familiarity and knowledge of AS9100D quality requirements- Utilization and knowledge of SAP / Factory Logix platforms- Proven team player who has demonstrated capabilities in the following areas: excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills,- Must have well developed problem-solving skills; solid organizational skills; and the demonstrated ability to be self-directed and effectively relate to all levels of an organization.- Looking for a hands-on individual with the ability to see the big picture.- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and set goals and objectives to meet Business Unit expectations and deadlines.- Must be self-motivated and a hard worker to ensure the business is successful and meets its monthly, quarterly and annual commitments.- Extensive computer skills including Microsoft suite of products- Must have a valid passport and a willing to travel to other Abaco sites in the U.S. and UK- The right person will be ambitious and flexible with a desire to learn and grow professionally in a growing Reynosa business**Direct Reports**- 2 direct reports (Process Engineers)
