IT Data Governance Lead Are you passionate about ensuring data quality and governance in a global organization? As IT Data Governance Lead , you will be responsible for implementing policies and standards that guarantee trusted and ethical data for strategic decision-making. This role is based in Querétaro, where you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that bridges business and technology. It’s an exciting opportunity to drive data culture, lead audits, and contribute to digital transformation projects with exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing Implement Data Governance Policies — Ensure adherence to governance processes, controls, and defined roles within the operating model. Manage Data Quality — Define quality rules and thresholds, monitor reports, and resolve issues to maintain trusted data. Oversee Data Lifecycle Management — Partner with business and technology teams to maintain standards, glossaries, and data dictionaries. Conduct Data Security Assessments — Audit security controls and ensure compliance with classification and access policies. Maintain Metadata Management — Create and manage metadata, data lineage, and role-based access controls. We’re Looking for Someone With Bachelor’s degree in computer systems, data science, programming, administration, or similar. 2–5 years of proven experience in data governance or data management roles. Strong knowledge of data governance practices and data management frameworks. Familiarity with major data regulations (GDPR, ARCO rights, etc.). Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
