We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.As a Finance Master Data Governance Lead supporting the Global Functions team, you will be trusted to work on defining and governing finance master data objects and hierarchies at Mexico City.IN THIS ROLE, A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE:- Acting as the main lead for Master Data Governance, collaborating with leadership and the Master Data Management (MDM) lead to ensure governance processes are followed.- Governing finance objects and attributes across Finance systems, defining and documenting finance master data objects and hierarchies used in reporting.- Maintaining oversight of all finance master data objects within the global scope, including the global chart of accounts structure and related attributes.- Working with the Alcon FMDM Lead to identify requirements and translate these into master data definitions for implementation across Alcon systems.- Leading continuous improvement initiatives across master data management activities and acting as the main contact for the business on projects, issues, and tooling.- Monitoring and implementing KPIs for data objects in line with global MDM data governance.- Providing IT technical requirements to secure tools and support services for managing data.- Ensuring compliance with Finance Core standards, Alcon Controllers Manual, and regulatory requirements.- Leading data governance forums and communicating governance policies to relevant teams.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:- Education: University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Chartered Accountant, or Technology-related Engineering.
