General Accounting Specialist, Senior

As General Accounting, you will be responsible for general accounting services provided to different affiliates and departments with an accent on the accuracy and compliance. You will report to the accounting manager in charge.**Main Responsibilities.**- Accounting of transactions among PPG affiliates according to US GAAP stardards and SOX controls.- Month-end closing accounting and related activities.- Identification and correction of common accounting issues for intercompany transactions.- Data gathering for internal and external audit purpose.- Administrative tasks related to the position such as reporting of activities and tracking on PPG Policies for the intercompany function.- Follow-up and validation of out of balance transactions between the PPG entities.**Qualifications.**- Bachelor's degree in accounting.- +3 years of proven experience in accounting tasks.- English proficiency.- Knowledge of Oracle/SAP.- Advanced Excel skills.Benefits included will be discussed with you by your recruiter during the hiring process, like medical benefits, life insurance and more.**About us**:**PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD****The PPG Way: We partner with customers to create mutual value.
