**Position Overview**:The Materials Manager will oversee the planning, ordering, storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.**Responsibilities**:**Materials Planning**:- Develop and implement materials management strategies in alignment with company goals and customer demands using Epicor ERP system.- Forecast material requirements based on production schedules and customer orders.- Maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure production continuity.**Inventory Management**:- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and products.- Implement and manage inventory control systems to track inventory levels, orders, and deliveries.- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.**Logistics and Distribution**:- Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure timely delivery of materials to production and finished products to customers.- Manage relationships with logistics providers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.**Team Leadership**:- Lead, train, and develop the materials management team to achieve department goals.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all materials management activities.**Reporting and Analysis**:- Prepare regular reports on materials management performance, including inventory levels, procurement activities, and supplier performance.- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.**Requirements**:- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials management, preferably within the automotive industry.- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and inventory control.- Certification in supply chain management or related fields (e.g., APICS, CPSM)..- Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems, Epicor or similar.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software systems.**Proficiency in Mandarin and Spanish OR English languages (written and verbal)**Application Question(s):- ¿Can you have a fluent conversation in english?- ¿Do you have experience in ERP systems?
