Accounting and Tax Analyst

To retain and develop top talent, we foster a work environment that celebrates creativity, encourages skill development, and enables multidisciplinary collaboration.**Requirements**:- Bachelor of Accounting.- 2+ years or more of relevant experience accounting and taxes.- Experience with local regulations.- Experience with direct and indirect taxes, including the preparation of monthly, annual returns, review of legal and tax requirements in the country.- Experience and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, especially those related to taxes and inventories and cost of sales.- Good experience using Microsoft Excel for the hands-on data analyst.- Ability to compile, analyze and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making.- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.- Experience of the technology company and in the use of Oracle ERP desired.- Review, track and maintain external and intercompany billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.- Responsible for month-end closing activities including researching and analyzing issues, B/S reconciliations, booking the appropriate journal entries and performing the corresponding financial controls.- Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations.- Respond to audit questions and requests from government entities, internal and external auditors.- Perform and document JSOX financial controls and corresponding evidence.- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for legal local purposes (tax, labor and legal), as well as prepare and release procedures at government agencies.- Register and control of foreign trade transactions and transactions with related parties (Prepare and review the files and tax/accounting back up).- Comply with local tax regulation (indirect and direct taxes) including review HR labor regulation (taxes) and prepared all tax regulation.**About the Company**:- Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is a dynamic billion-dollar global company based in Research Triangle Park, NC, providing retail store solutions to your favorite brands.
