Jr. Data Governance and Privacy Analyst

**Grow with us as a Jr. Data Governance and Privacy Analyst - HR**, in this position you will work directly with team members to provide support and guidance on HR data governance and privacy through in depth functional knowledge of the privacy landscape and contributing to the overall Data Governance and privacy strategy.- You will focus on technical operations of our HR organization's privacy program tools.- This role will be heavily involved in global governance and privacy across HR, helping to map and improve privacy processes throughout the organization and helping to facilitate our privacy program- The HR Data Governance and Privacy Specialist is responsible for maintaining assessments of data privacy risks and Privacy Inpact Assessments (PIA) in to our privacy tool, producing audit and compliance reports, maintain data flow maps, and help to accomplish deliverables within required timelines.Work Complexity:- Administrates privacy and governance tools as a team member.- Works on projects that span a broad range of processes and require a general understanding of privacy legislation.- Helps to build and administrate global privacy and governance tools that cross multiple functions of the business.- This role will require a degree of integrity, discretion and objectivity, as well as functional innovation in approaching business governance administration.**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**In this role, you will be part of our success by:- Maintain data flow maps within our privact tool.- Data entry of privacy compliance documents into the privacy tool.- Interface with HR Data governance and Privacy Team to ensure execution of Data Acccess Requests to help manage broader global privacy compliance program initiatives.- Regularly communicate progress and escalate obstacles and constraints to management team when needed.- Maintain our data flow maps, especially the “unstructured flows” in privacy tool.- Produce regulatory and audit reports.- Produce data access flow reports and assist with data purge requests.- In the first two years they will help build, and then administer our portion of the HR Privacy tool, keeping it maintained at all times.- They will be critical in maintaining our data inventory and data flows.- Additionally they will be the first line for myHR tickets sent to data governance, HR Tech Governance, or Privacy. Fielding some themselves and escalating others to Privacy Analyst or Global Director.- This person would also administer our Teams pages for any questions, etc. Providing updates to our fun facts, and also using Yammer to socialize what we do.- Provide effective support in a fast-paced environment and possess a demeanor that is excited by a dynamic environment of continual change and improvement.- Preparation of reports to help deliver business stakeholder updates and develop key metrics to monitor, evaluate, and report on privacy progress.- Responsible for assisting with project stakeholder updates**WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?**As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in to be considered for this position, you must be able to meet the following requirements:- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, Advanced level of Excel, solid PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with other tools such as Visio helpful.- Skills and recent experience that demonstrates an ability to work independently with supervision in a remote environment.- Out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate and energized by the challenge of digging into complex and cross functional issues.- Ability to create a positive and professional business relationship with internal and external clients.- Demonstrates proper privacy management of highly sensitive and confidential information.- 2-3 years of experience in HR, in an assistant or support role.- Minimum 1 year experience in HR Data Privacy.- 2-3 years relevant experience in HR technology.- The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to dealing with colleagues.- In addition, it requires someone who naturally takes initiative and will continually strive to improve processes, solve problems and analyze outcomes.- The ability to comfortably multi-task will be vital for success in this position.Kellogg Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer who strives to provide an inclusive work environment that involves everyone and embraces the diverse talent of its people.
