**About the Role**The LatAm Market Intelligence team plays an important role in influencing the strategic decision-making process guaranteeing Uber's competitive position.In this position, you will be responsible for gathering and connecting strategic data and information and other business analytics to support strategic planning and execution.This role requires a strong ability to work with data, strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Uber operates in a diverse array of markets and product categories filled with rapidly evolving competing options; assessing the success or failure of a product or strategy depends on understanding this context. Doing this, and doing it well, is an interesting and difficult problem. The team uses its expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, economics, and business to build scalable data products and generate insights that drive our strategy and investment decisions.**What you'll do**:- Develop market intelligence reports or metrics, quality control processes, and build insights based on those analysis and reports.- Conduct original analyses and presentations to advise and influence Market Intelligence and Competitive Pricing efforts;- Interpret and present data to senior audiences to efficiently influence partners and generate consensus;- Support team with data visualization, by building, maintaining, and optimizing analytics' dashboards and reports;- Effectively communicate insights and "tell the story" around competition and pricing strategies and data.**What you'll need**:- **3 years of experience in consulting, business operations, tech, strategy or similar**:- **Business Understanding**: Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution. Strong business sense and creative approach to data to identify gaps and opportunities- **Data-driven mentality**:Strong analytical thinking, passion for data, and sound business judgment. Knowledge of statistics and SQL.- ** Communication**:Proficiency in Portuguese and English. Experience working closely and communicating effectively with internal and external partners- ** Adaptability**:Resilience and ability to take the initiative in our constantly-changing work environment, with tight deadlines- ** Analytics**:Proven experience in sophisticated data analysis. Python, R, or another scripting language.- ** Teamwork**:The nature of the team implies constant collaboration and relationship-building with cross-functional teams in Brazil to ensure we bring all available tools to bear on our toughest problems.
