Sr. Technical Project Manager

To retain and develop top talent, we foster a work environment that celebrates creativity, encourages skill development, and enables multidisciplinary collaboration.**What you will bring to the team.**Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join an established international team developing software solutions for the Retail Marketplace.The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of programmers, testers, software architects and other supporting roles throughout all phases of the software development life cycle from concept to product release, to life cycle management. The Technical Project Manager will use Agile and Project Management development processes and best practices to ensure quality, on-time, on-budget deliverables.The Project Manager will represent the SW Development organization at cross-functional team workgroups trusted with defining, developing, releasing and maintaining products and solutions.**What you will be doing**:- Successfully lead complex projects by guiding your team to define, plan, deliver and support high-quality software products and solutions.- Act as the single point of contact for all development activities.- Manage product feature-function content, facilitating sizing activities with the technical team.- Understand and communicate resource requirements- Develop product release schedules, committing those schedules to the business and ensuring timely execution.- Present project status and recommendations to management and executive teams.- Complete all work items including legal clearances, regulatory requirements, product classifications and ensure that products meet industry standards.- Interact with customers as appropriate to discuss product functionality, performance, plans and field support escalations.- Identify and resolve problems, gaps, and challenges in the software engineering processes- Foster an environment of collaboration, trust, and accountability.**Naturally to be successful in this role, you must have and know of**:- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science field or equivalent experience.- Strong project management skills with a minimum of 7 years of Project Management experience.- Deep and practical understanding of software development, test and the software development life cycle.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with team members and peer groups across multiple countries and time zones.- Possess a high level of comfort to work "in the weeds" with development teams, as well as at a portfolio level with management and high-level executives- Applied knowledge of project management and software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Gitlab, Jenkins.- Excellent risk and change management skills.- Experience with the Agile/Scrum process applied to software development.- Strong leadership competency.- Exceptional English communication.**Preferred experience**:- PMP, Agile or similar certifications.**We offer**:- Hired directly by Toshiba and 100% under payroll.- Benefits of the law (IMSS, INFONAVIT, December day voucher, vacation voucher)- Life insurance, major medical expenses with dental and visual coverage.
