**Job Description**:**JR- Controls Manufacturing Engineer****Responsabilities**:- New program implementation/execution (SOR prep, forecasting, controls/robotics design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff)- Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement- Maintaining awareness of new controls technologies (PLC, HMI, networks, robot, vision)of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high quality parts- Managing deliveries to program timing milestones- Providing project report outs to senior management- Existing program/site support (troubleshooting, etc.)- Providing technical direction to less experienced controls engineers.- Designing and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems- Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology**Required Skills**:- **Education**:Mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics- **English**:Advanced Intermediate (Conversational)- **Experience**:2 years in- Knowledge of software: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Fanuc- Knowledge of automation- Knowledge of PLC- Availability to **travel**In case you need any reasonable adjustment to continue with your process, let your recruiter know.**DIVERSITY STATEMENT**: General Motors is committed to being a workplace that is not only free of unlawful discrimination, but one that genuinely fosters inclusion and belonging.
