This specific opening is for a brand new team, which is an extension of an existing delivery team focusing on APIs and partner integrations. You'll be working as a Full Stack Software Engineer focused on our APIs, enhancing our public API development portal, implementing 3rd party integrations, and adding enhancements to the UI 3rd party vendors use to access information about and manage their integrations, all while being relentlessly focused on providing the highest quality of service to our customers. Glass Half Full.**THE SKILLSET**:- Core language competencies (modern JavaScript framework experience, HTML/CSS, Ruby on Rails, Node, Golang, and/or Elixir are preferred)- Familiar with fundamental software engineering concepts, including data structures, design patterns, best practices - (DRY, SOLID, YAGNI, TDD, etc.)- Some educational background in relevant field (bootcamp, college, etc)- Experience doing development in a collaborative environment- A thirst for knowledge and continuous learning- Strong communication skills and ability to explain and escalate issues to leadership- Have a general business case understanding of the task at hand.- Work with some guidance on prioritization and time allocation. Execute on well-defined cards with some direction.- Willingness to provide white glove support to our customers.
