You will be working as a consultant directly with clients US Clients. We offer: 2 days at office 3 days at home $15 USD per hour Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced BI Developer to help us migrate and modernize our existing business intelligence dashboards. The primary responsibility will be to review our current dashboards built in Metabase, audit and understand the underlying SQL queries, and rebuild the dashboards in a new visualization tool (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau – specify if you have a preference). The developer must also ensure that all queries are updated to reference new Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery tables as part of our data infrastructure upgrade. Key Responsibilities Audit and analyze existing Metabase dashboards and the SQL queries powering them. (At least 3 years of exp in SQL) Understand business logic behind each dashboard element and metric. Migrate dashboards to a new BI tool (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) with improved visualizations where applicable. Rewrite queries using new GCP BigQuery tables, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity. Collaborate with the internal data team to clarify table relationships, data mappings, and logic changes. Document the migration process and maintain clear version control. Identify redundant or deprecated dashboards/queries and recommend clean-up. Provide suggestions for improved UX and data storytelling in the new tool. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics roles. Proven experience with Metabase and at least one modern BI tool (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Strong SQL skills with a deep understanding of query optimization and analytics functions. Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and GCP ecosystem. Solid understanding of data modeling and BI best practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and data teams.
