The environment is driven by scientific and technical innovation with a high level of diversity in workflows, data and vendors, powered by the adoption of the BizDevOps ways of working that leverages technology and agile ways of working to delivery value, faster.**ABOUT THE ROLE**AstraZeneca are looking for a technically skilled DevOps Tooling Lead to work as part of the Delivery Excellence Team.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**- Maintain the Core Tooling design and architecture for R&D IT which is aligned to Enterprise standards- Build User Guides and Best-practice for Tool adoption and usage- Be the primary engineer for Backstage, as well as an Innersource Maintainer- Work directly with teams to consult on their adoption of tooling- Create reusable artefacts such as Internal GitHub Actions, GitHub Apps, and integrations between tools- Build technical measures to enforce standards adherence (e.g. branch protection rules)- Where possible contribute to our DevOps metrics dashboard**YOU SHOULD APPLY IF YOU HAVE**:- 8+ years of experience in developing and managing using cutting edge technologies- Extensive applied experience in React, TypeScript and Java- Extensive applied experience with CI/CD - especially using GitHub Actions- Experience using GraphQL, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline**DESIRED SKILLS**:- Worked on Opensource Projects**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**- Any Bachelor’s / Master’s degree.**OVERALL YEARS OF EXPERIENCE**:- 8+ years
