**Objective of the position**Manage a Commodity Buyers team at a regional level. Assure the control and Implementation of purchaslng activities.**Principal activities**:Supervision of team members.Support the strategic planning of the Direct Material commodity by breaking down or developing the strategic planning for the Americas Region team, within a short or medium-range time frame.Develop and execute commodity strategies/roadmaps for IS/SY commodities assigned.Establish and develop local suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality.Plan and administer the Material Budget and Operating Budget in his/her area of responsibility, in cooperation with the Manager, and make sure there is compliance with it.Cooperate in personnel planning within his/her area of responsibility in cooperation with the Manager; employ qualified personnel.Developing and assuring implementation of training plans for team.Support and encourage teamwork, creativity, motivation and accuracy of assigned personnel.Represent the direct material department in relevant local meetings including preparation and presentation.Provide technical and disciplinary leadership (coaching/mentoring) to associates that report to him/her; make personnel decisions in cooperation with the HR department and the supervisorBreak down and prioritize group goals for associates.Cooperate in community strategies in his/her area of responsibility.Monitor supplier performance, reports KPIs, and takes corrective actions when deliverables are not being met.Conduct and support trans-regional sourcing activities.**Requirements**:Professional career: BD Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or other technical related field.- English Business Level.**Technical knowledge**:- Production processes: Injection molding, raw materials, surfaces, lamination, etc.- Automotive Electrical and Interior Market- Cost estimation- Automotive Standards (APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, VDA,- MS Office
