**Responsibilities**:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with Mexican accounting regulations.- Process accounts payable and receivable promptly, ensuring smooth financial operations.- Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly to ensure accuracy.- Prepare and issue invoices to clients and customers, maintaining proper documentation.- Monitor expenses and ensure appropriate classification and coding.- Assist in processing payroll, calculating employee hours and wages accurately.- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.- Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting.- Ensure the confidentiality of financial information and compliance with internal policies and procedures.- Assist with audits and tax preparation, providing necessary support as needed.- Provide backup support to the accounting team as necessary.- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, such as monthly financial reporting, journal entries, and recording payments and adjustments.- Manage invoice processing and ensure compliance with invoicing policies.**Requirements**:- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.- **Accounting Knowledge**: Strong understanding of accounting principles, specifically related to Mexican tax laws, regulations, and practices.- **Software Proficiency**: Experience with accounting software and familiarity with government tax platforms are preferred.
