Sr Analyst, Continuous Improvement

LOCATION: IGBS GuadalajaraREPORTS TO: GBS PMO Sr ManagerWORKPLACE TYPE: HybridThe Continuous Improvement Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting the Ingredion Leadership team and assisting the PMO Sr. Manager with continuous improvement activities associated with key initiatives designed to implement Business Analytics workstreams and customer satisfaction (internal & external).Core Responsibilities:- Utilize continuous improvement tools and methodologies to assist leadership and CI team in process reviews and Business analytics to drive process improvements- Activities include but not limited to facilitation of Blitz events, kaizen Events, monthly metrics review- Assists leadership in project reviews and benefits tracking including establishment of dashboard metrics, reporting and quality- Assists leadership in achieving established CI targets based on operating goals and objectives- Assists in the deployment of Business Analytics and Data Science tools and technology for process improvements- Collaborate closely with leadership team to align on strategic requirements, data needs and process management- Communicate CI projects updates/progress to GSS leadership team on a frequent basis- Collaborate with workstream teams to identify and work on Data Science and Business Analytics, including ensuring standardization in process execution and error free delivery- Accountable for establishing, or sustaining, a Continuous Improvement process, using Lean Six Sigma techniques, to support operational objectives through improved processes.- Support site leadership, and other key personnel, on Lean Management Principles, concepts, and Lean Transformational Processes. Help develop people capable of driving Lean in their areas- Support improvement plan to the GBS PMO Sr Manager as a basis for goal setting and deliver substantial savings per year, typically 5% of budget, from a Business Analytics perspective- Assist leadership in establishing baseline and target metrics for key business/functional processes.- Identify areas of opportunity and initiate projects with achievable goals. Support operations through facilitation and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects, reports automation, sustaining, improving and streamlining overall processes within the organization.- Requirements:_- Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline- 5+ years working experience and of which at least more than 1 year with Business Analytics/BI experience- Advanced English level- Basic understanding of project management and change management capabilities- Demonstrated ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships, wide variety of stakeholders and deliver consistent results with proven ability to work in a large-distributed workforce with a matrix environment- Proven expertise in MS Office required.- Medium to high knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI (ideal) or Tableau.- Self-motivated, Detail oriented and analytical mindset with stakeholder management skills will be preferred- Solid interpersonal skills including communication, collaborative facilitation, coaching, and influencing- Travel may be required on an ad hoc basis (once or twice a year aprox)- Behaviors and attributes:_- Able to develop work plans, identify data needs to successfully manage and execute continuous improvement projects identified- Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and leverage relationships with Senior Management, as well as proven ability to work as part of a project team and deliver results.- Solid planning, organization, analysis, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering tangible results- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks- Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions, and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks- Strong team focus and desire to achieve results including the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines- Push to continually drive personal and organizational results and make timely decisions that benefit Ingredion globally- Demonstrated experience managing several projects / initiatives at one time that require advanced problem-solving skills- Ability to work with mínimal supervision, strong work ethic, attention to detail and organizational / multi-tasking skills- Demonstrated ability to influence others without direct line of authority.Company Background:Ingredion is a Fortune 500 public company, provider of ingredient solutions that helps nourish, comfort, sustain, and delight people around the world.
