Drafts budget proposals, provides status reports, handles internal/external customer and interdepartmental communications.**What you will be doing**Standards- Ensures team members are working within the system per the operational requirements- Accountable and responsible for adherence to and evolution of Global StandardsInstallation- Understands customer cabling requirements, performs site surveys, provides cost estimates to Sales and installation of new cables- Ensures proper testing of cables before handing to customerVendor Management- Manages, briefs, and instructs vendors for installation, testing, and labeling- Reviews recommendation and pricing with local supplier and keeps servicing records to ensure that the data center infrastructure is properly maintained- Oversees contractor work to ensure completion to Equinix required standardsBudgeting- Drafts proposals for data center infrastructure improvements which require capital expenditure approval- Plans, coordinates, reviews budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance.Leadership- Assigns, instructs, and supervises the data center operations and facility teams- Develops and motivates team members- Creates an inclusive cultureProject Management- Handles multiple projects and assists in designating work to teamTechnical Expertise- Investigates technical issues and leads supervisors in resolving issues- Provides root cause analysisCommunicates and coordinates activities and on site staff during an incident**What you should have**- High School Diploma- ** 5+ years experience**- ** Advanced english**- ** Leadership**“Equinix is an equal employment opportunity employer.
