**Colón**:**Commodity Buyer**: As a successful family-owned company on a path to global growth, the Brose Group offers challenging responsibilities and exciting career opportunities to performance-driven, skilled specialists with solid professional knowledge and proven career expertise who wish to contribute to our company’s success.**Your tasks**:- Responsible for component and supplier sourcing strategies for assigned product group.- Provides cost and quality wise favorable quotations for required materials out of the NAFTA market.- Lead supplier selection for the NAFTA region- Perform cost and value analysis in cooperation with other departments, centers and product teams.- Cost reduction for new purchased parts and sub-assemblies by early supplier involvement and by working with the respective Customer Team Buyer(s).- Provides support to production with coordination of technical changes of purchased parts and implementation of economical improvements.- Initiates and records cost avoidances during launch timeframe.- Responsible for the issuance of RFQ's prior to start of production (SOP) as well as engineering changes during current production.- Support the Customer Team Buyer(s) in the target setting process (defining the target prices as well as commodity implications).**Your Profile**:- Analytical skills and Cost Break Down- Competitive analysis- negotiation techniques- Risk Management- Supplier Relationship Management- English- proficiency level- Work experience- 3-5 years- Formal education (and specialization)- Bachelor degree in related field.**We offer you a modern working environment with our Brose working world**:- Brose offers a high-tech work environment and a wide range of benefits.
