Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.**Job Summary**:Caterpillar’s Job Site Solutions (JSS) group, part of the Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology division, is currently seeking a Fleet Manager. In this role you will be responsible for fulfilling the customer’s specific contractual commitments in a profitable manner. These commitments include specific deliverables in equipment management, production optimization, safety, sustainability, and financial performance. You will work directly with customer executive management, plant management, and equipment operators.The Fleet Manager has the primary responsibility for managing the Dealer partnership, assuring strong relations and profitable Dealer results. The contract portfolio will range from $10-$75MM with expected customer value generation in the $100K - $1MM annual range.- Leading the customer engagements and providing matrix leadership for contract execution.- Achieving alignment of various parties at Caterpillar, Dealers, and key end-user personnel.- Partnering with Dealer personnel to direct the day-to-day activity related to contractual commitments at each site contract.- Successfully delivering on all areas of contractual commitments by utilizing a complete understanding of Caterpillar and Dealer Capability.- Working with Caterpillar Product Groups and other internal Business Units to completely understand the technical and operational capabilities of our equipment, technology, and services.- Creating innovative new value-added capabilities to improve site operations in a manner that Caterpillar and Dealers can grow profitability and reduce risk.**Education requirement**:- Any related bachelor’s or engineering degree.- Advanced English-speaking level**Customer Focus**- Helps create the right products and services to solve customer problems.- Builds strong customer relationships by keeping promises, communicating openly, and improving based on feedback.- Guides others on how to create customer-focused environments.- Anticipates customer needs and works proactively to exceed expectations.- Tracks customer satisfaction and uses insights to improve service.- Promotes customer focus as a key part of the organization’s strategy.**Relationship Management**- Responds quickly and effectively to client requests.- Regularly checks how satisfied clients are.- Notifies the team about any client satisfaction issues.- Understands and respects different roles in client relationships.- Collaborates with clients to solve major problems.**Technical Excellence**- Guides others in evaluating and delivering technical solutions.- Brings in experts to help solve technical problems effectively.- Coaches others on how to deliver high-quality technical solutions to business challenges.- Solves moderately complex technical problems by using strong technical skills and understanding the bigger picture.- Takes responsibility for their own technical work and expects the same from others.**Effective Communications**- Gives respectful, behavior-focused feedback.- Accepts feedback calmly and uses it to improve communication.- Speaks and writes clearly for work-related tasks.- Avoids using technical terms when they’re not appropriate.- Pays attention to body language and group reactions.**Decision Making and Critical Thinking**- Uses a specific method to support decision-making.- Gathers and organizes useful data and ideas.- Helps document key information, people, and processes.- Identifies and prioritizes important issues.- Supports evaluating risks, benefits, and other options.**Products and Services**- Learns how products and services connect with others in the organization.- Researches the target market and how offerings are sold and delivered.- Shares updates, delivery options, and current status of products and services.- Highlights key features of main products or services in their area.- Reviews product options, costs, and pricing in their unit.- Direct field experience managing the health of heavy equipment fleets either as a dealer representative or user.- Direct experience working at or supporting a mining operation.- Working knowledge of Caterpillar, heavy equipment, product support, telematics, safety, and environment operations.- Expertise with Microsoft Office 365, data visualization tools, condition monitoring and fleet management tools and processes.**Additional Details**:- This position is located in Torre Santa María.
