Descripción y detalle de las actividades- JOB SUMMARY - Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in metal fabrication area: Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. - Analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Design, make and purchase tools for production in metal fabrication area. - Write new procedures or change methods using automation. - Planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. - Determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards for metal products. - Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions - Confer whit engineering and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes. - Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements - Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Experiência y requisitos- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to interpret customer quality requirements. - Computer skills in MS tools. - Should be creative and should posses ability to use modern technology in Metal manufacturing process - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet the expected goals within time using advance technologies in Metal fabrication.
