**Company Summary****Summary**:Logistics/Shipping agents support operations in all logistics and customer service functions related to product deliveries, planning, scheduling, ordering, transportation, tracking, and reporting.- The ability to enter orders accurately in the system is a must.- The Logistics/Shipping Agent will also be responsible for keeping track of the inventory and ensuring that we have the products the customers need in stock.- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and customer service skills.- Knowledge of claim process and customer service.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance requirements- Monitor supply chain operations- Manage relationships with carriers and other vendors.- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures- Communication with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc., to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction- Prepare accurate reports for upper management.- Schedule shipments, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies- Prepare documents for customs clearance- Implement cost-saving measures**Skills and qualifications**:- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management- Excellent written, and verbal communication and presentation skills in English- Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of the shipments.- Working knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation- Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in the supply chain, transportation, logistics, business, or related field- Experience in the logistics field as a shipping agent or similar role**Benefits**:- Additional Personal Paid Time Off- Hybrid Remote/Office Work Environment- Opportunity to self-manage your schedules- Competitive salaries- Career development plan- Paid training.**Salary**: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month
