Project engineer**The purpose of this position is to plan and perform work requiring sound technical judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of project management assignments. This role has the responsibility to perform the essential job duties and functions as listed below with the overall objective of managing and/or coordinating project activities that are in compliance with the contract and ensure the safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability of the completed project. Performing assigned general duties of limited scope and level of responsibility, this entry-level position is designed to develop broader project management knowledge and experience. This role learns about and applies established procedures and techniques in accomplishment of work activities.**Job duties and responsibilities**:- Engineering liaison between our plant and the customer throughout entire production life of a product.- Communicates and works well with all departments to make recommendations on continuous improvement and optimizing equipment and process systems.- Provide Document Control with all pertinent new product information for initial set-up of parts in system- Develops project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision of engineering manager or plant engineer- Assists in maintaining Engineering file systems and databases by updating and revising accurate and error-free information. This includes but is not limited to drawing files, drawing databases, ECR, and packaging files**JOB REQUIREMENTS****CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS****Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**- Must have fundamental understanding of principles and methods concerning planning and scheduling, project management, cost management and control and tools- Highly skilled with horizontal and vertical communication internally and with customers; using complex datasets, spreadsheets, and Project dashboards- General understanding of Drafting standards and methodologies- Understands who to involve and how to obtain team members for finalization of project charters- Analytical approach to problem solving and identifying potential solutions**Education & Experience**- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related study strongly preferred.- English b2- Customer focused with ability to develop and sustain productive customer relationships while meeting the company's needs
