We are looking for a **Contract Electrical Engineer.**The Contract Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical analysis, design, and development of water-cooled chiller components and systems. You will provide support for the manufacturing process through the creation of wiring diagrams, panel diagrams, and instrumentation specifications.* Conduct electrical design and analysis for chiller systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.* Interface with the design team to generate detailed engineering documentation, including ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) and BOMs (Bill of Materials).* Support the manufacturing process by troubleshooting and debugging electrical systems and resolving design issues.* Engage in collaborative problem solving with multidisciplinary teams to optimize system performance and reliability.**Required:*** Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in hazardous environments.* Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and control diagrams.* Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and control circuits.* Knowledge of CAD tools for electrical design, such as AutoCAD.**Preferred:*** Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC applications.* Familiarity with industry standards and safety requirements for electrical designs in hazardous environments.**What do*** Comprehensive benefits package.* Opportunities for professional growth and development.* Supportive and inclusive work environment.* Commitment to work-life balance and employee well-being.* Engagement in meaningful projects that make a difference.**Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a condition for hiring, continued employment, or promotion**, in accordance with its commitment to labor equality and non-discrimination.Your buildings have a purpose.
