The Contract Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical analysis, design, and development of water‑cooled chiller components and systems. You will provide support for the manufacturing process through the creation of wiring diagrams, panel diagrams, and instrumentation specifications. How will you do it? Conduct electrical design and analysis for chiller systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Interface with the design team to generate detailed engineering documentation, including ECNs (Engineering Change Notices) and BOMs (Bill of Materials). Support the manufacturing process by troubleshooting and debugging electrical systems and resolving design issues. Engage in collaborative problem solving with multidisciplinary teams to optimize system performance and reliability. What are we looking for? Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in hazardous environments. Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics and control diagrams. Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and control circuits. Knowledge of CAD tools for electrical design, such as AutoCAD. Preferred: Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC applications.
